Wandin Valley Views is based on the edge of the Yarra Valley, bordering the Dandenong Ranges. We are about 45km East from the Melbourne CBD. Our cottage is one of the oldest remaining buildings in the area, built by the Chapman family in the 1920’s. The house has been restored to capture the romance of yesteryear, whilst offering all the modern conveniences. The views from the property are absolutely stunning.
The house has three bedroom suites, 2 x King Size and 1 x Queen Size. The honeymoon suite features an ensuite with clawfoot bath, with a second bathroom available to service the other bedrooms.
When you stay at Wandin Valley Views, whether you are on your honeymoon or coming in a group or with your family, you will have the property all to yourself. Please note, whilst you have the whole house to yourself, we may lock additional bedrooms unless otherwise agreed (ie. if you book for two, we will only have one bedroom available unless otherwise agreed).

Summary: This is a beautifully restored farmhouse that my granddaughters called a mansion. It is set up on a hill overlooking the valley. The grounds are nicely landscaped.The view is beautiful especially as the sun rises over the mountains in the morning Just my wife and I so we stayed in the master bedroom that has been completely redone with a huge bathroom and lots of hot water. There are two more nice bedrooms that share a bathroom. A great kitchen. This is located outside of Silvan and you will need a car to get back and forth. Otherwise it is very convenient to local attractions. Don’t miss the botanical gardens, The town itself is lovely with a great bakery,several nice restaurants,a small grocery store,even the people at the newsstand and flower shop were charming. We stayed two weeks and I would go back in a minute

Summary: This cottage has been renovated beautifully. My family and I stayed here for a couple of nights including young children and couldn’t of asked for a better family friendly home. It was warm, spotless and had everything we needed. Such a great home and would recommend to anyone. A+.

Summary: Everything was clean when we arrived. The property had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the filter coffee provided and managed to find time to read one of the books i found in the book cabinet. Hosts were communicative and very accommodating. Would stay again.

Summary: Lovely place to stay well appointed and you can see lots of rabbits at sunset. Very comfortable and relaxing. Definitely recommended !

Summary: We loved staying in this house. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Heaps of glasses, cutlery and crockery. Extra towels. Milk in the fridge. Air con in every room. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Our hosts were great communicators who checked in to make sure all was okay. The view of the mountains were stunning, and the house was in a quiet area. All in all it was perfect for our needs and we’d have no hesitating in recommending it, and staying there again.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house. The original features were lovely and we enjoyed learning about some of its history. The beds were super comfy, the linen beautiful quality and the house was so warm. The wood heater was a great bonus. The bathrooms were immaculate as was every room in the house. The view from the verandah was spectacular. Daniel and Leonie were very easy to contact and quick with their responses. Thank you for having us. We’d love to come back one day :)

Summary: This is one of the best properties we have stayed in. We spent 5 weeks here and we will absolutely be back. During our longer stay, Daniel and Leonie were great hosts who looked after our needs and also had great knowledge of the local area. The property itself has beautiful period features sympathetically renovated and obviously loved by Daniel and Leonie. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and we enjoyed many mornings watching the sun rise over the surrounding hills. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was incredibly comfortable and the bath is a treat. Easy access to the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley including one of the best restaurants we have been to at the hidden gem “The Independant”.

Summary: Highly recommend this wonderful property for a luxury five star country stay. Excellent hosts, whose attention to detail made for a great weekend. Well stocked pantry and kitchen and the best bath views in Victoria! We stayed with young children so the toys, trampoline and games table were much appreciated.
